A place to return to
Nest of Me explores the relationship between memory, the body and the temporary shelters we build as children. An imagined nest becomes a space for revisiting the feeling of safety and the fragments of everyday life.
The body shapes the world
Azure Kinect and Unity connect body and hand movement to a virtual scene. Gesture recognition triggers actions such as summoning, floating and changing the surrounding environment. AI-generated imagery and a multisensory approach extend the work beyond a screen-based interaction.
From imagery to experience
ComfyUI and LoRA support the development of the visual material. The images below document scene states, exhibition encounters and the relationship between a participant and the virtual avatar.
The deliberate gaps in a dream
I deliberately leave some irrational details in these dream images: imperfect relationships between bodies and objects, unstable spaces, and forms that resist everyday logic. These gaps are part of the work’s visual language. They invite viewers to notice where a dream slips away from reality, rather than presenting a world that is seamless and entirely believable. The singing lion holding its own tail is one such image: its strange gesture belongs to the logic of the dream.
